SÖDRA Cell AB (Växjö)

COLI Schiffahrt & Transport Bremen GmbH has represented SÖDRA Cell AB (Växjö) as their German agent since 1975. This long-lasting close relationship is securing a reliable and efficient supply chain from producers to consumers.

SÖDRA is a co-operative economic association with a membership based on 50,000 owners. All of SÖDRA's units work with eco-management systems. SÖDRA Cell is one of the world´s largest pulp suppliers and the biggest subsidiary within the SÖDRA Group. Their pulp is produced at pulp mills in Sweden and Norway. SÖDRA Cell pulp is the essential resource for many different paper products.

SÖDRA’s marine transports are carried out by the specialized, box-shaped and geared vessels MV "TIMBUS", MV "CELLUS" and MV "FORESTER", all from Reederei Rörd Braren of Kollmar. The shipowner has been awarded the “Clean Marine Award” of the EU's Quality Shipping Initiative in 2004.

Being a very sensitive commodity, wood pulp requires special care and close co-ordination of all concerned parties – stevedores, terminals, agents and receivers. COLI Schiffahrt & Transport GmbH & Co. KG Bremen handles all SÖDRA vessels calling German ports and guarantees smooth discharging operations.
