power components from Hamburg to Nanao which is located on the island

Honshu in Japan.

The consignment consisted of 33 blades of 40,5 meters length and 11 nacells

of 70 mtons unit weight. The booking was brokered through COLI Hamburg in cooperation

with CPC Consolidated Pool Carriers (Asia) Co. Ltd. Tokyo who represented the appointed

forwarder for the receiver.

The relation with NYK-Hinode and the COLI Group with head office in Hamburg goes back to

the mid 80's and early 90's. When CPC Hamburg commenced trading in 1988 NYK, Tokyo was

already a regular client subletting substantial cargoes and projects to CPC Tokyo / Hamburg.

In 1992 NYK and CPC established a jointventure operating 2 heavy lift vessels in the intra-

asian trade. The cooperation is a unique example of an excellent relation between this

Japanese mega carrier and the COLI Group which includes CPC.

MV"KUWANA", one of NYK-Hinodes 30.000 dwt multi-purpose tweendeckers leaving Hamburg.
