ed celebrated the name-giving-ceremony of their new building MV "Norjan"



The latest new building MV “Norjan” has been officially taken over by Normed International B.V. on Monday,
15th October 2007. Normed celebrated the name-giving of their MV “Norjan” in the port of Antwerp, Belgium.
The ceremony was done by shipowner’s wife Nora Akavi.

MV "Norjan" will trade in Normed's conventional breakbulk service between Antwerp and Turkish ports and
will call Istanbul, Gemlik, Rota, Diliskelesi and Izmir on regular basis.

The vessel is the latest new building out of five, and a sister vessel of "Normed Bremen" and "Normed Amsterdam"
which are running within Normed service already, like "Normed Bremen", resp. with ABB - Asia Break Bulk
(Singapore) Pte Ltd Service.

Normed has ordered two more vessels of this type:
"Normed Rotterdam" will be delivered in November,
"Normed Antwerpen" delivery early 2008,
from the Daehan shipyard in Korea.

For her maiden voyage "Norjan" was given to ABB for which she performed a trip from China and Japan to
Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Turkey, where she joined the Normed service and also loaded her first cargo for
Normed within their Europe service.
